Whether your style is contemporary, traditional, or eclectic we're available to assist you in designing the kitchen or bath of your dreams.

Jody Marie Scott CKD, CAPS

Jody received her Interior Design Degree from Colorado Institute of Art in 1982. She got her start in the kitchen business in 1984 and has had designs published in “This Old House”. She has worked in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Maine working with homeowners and contractors as they build and remodel homes, cottages, condos, and businesses.

Jody is an active member of the National Kitchen & Bath Association and was certified in 2005. Working with homeowners, architects, engineers, surveyors, interior designers, contractors, and cabinet installers has given Jody the additional “how-to” classes that aren’t taught in school. Coupled with continuing educational courses, Jody has kept up to date on all the changes and trends and has toured many of the cabinet manufacturer’s facilities. Her recent classes include Outdoor Kitchens, Kitchen & Bath Lighting, Designing Showrooms, as well as training for 20-20 computer drafting.

In the past 25 years, Jody has worked with hundreds of projects ranging from small vanities to projects like the kitchen and bath renovations at Kent Boys School dorm apartments in Kent, CT and multiple showrooms for places she has been employed.

If you catch Jody out of the showroom you may find her walking or riding her Harley. She loves to cook, travel, and still enjoys using pencil and paper to hand draft projects.

Lorilee D. Reuillard CKD, CAPS

Lorilee has been with Dream Kitchen Studio since 1998. She carries a degree in Interior Design, from Endicott College, and received her certification in kitchen design in 2006 from the National Kitchen & Bath Association (NKBA). Growing up Lorilee fondly remembers sitting at her grandfather’s architectural drafting board – with his smelly markers – doodling. His classic style, clean lines, and simplicity must be genetic, as it can be seen in Lorilee’s work with her clients. Lorilee’s clients enjoy working thru the “process” with her – logistics are her forte. Years after doing a kitchen, clients will bump into her and comment how they “still love their kitchen”. As much as kitchen design is her job, her clients become friends thru the process!

In 2010, the National Kitchen and Bath Association appointed Lorilee to be the Maine Chapters Representative for the 2011-2013 term. This honor comes after she was re-elected for a 3rd term as President of the Maine Chapter (normally only 2 consecutive years are allowed). She also has served as the Chapters Secretary during 2007 and 2008.

Beyond work, Lorilee volunteers locally with youth and her church. She and her husband continue to update and restore their century old home.

Lynne Gushee, CAPS

As a young girl Lynne spent many hours with a sketch pad in hand drawing floor plans and elevations; which her father, a local master carpenter, would then comment on. So after several years of working in the healthcare business community, Lynne decided to go back to school to study Architecture – her first love. While in school and her apprenticeships, Lynne got the sense of who she wanted to be as a designer, realizing she enjoyed the details of the interiors of homes. So the decision to focus on kitchen and bath design was a transition that fit her capabilities and interest best.

Today, as a kitchen and bath designer, Lynne infuses her designs with the practical experience of being a wife, mother, and avid cook with her continuing education. Most recently receiving her diploma for CAPS (Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist), Lynne plans to use the knowledge to better the designs for all. But she also excited to work with the segments of the population that need specialized adaptation of their spaces to safely and efficiently use the rooms in their home.

Lynne continues her education through the National Kitchen and Bath Association, and the National Association of Home Builders, which she feels only strengthened her design process.

Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist

The Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designation program teaches the technical, business management, and customer service skills essential to competing in the fastest growing segment of the residential remodeling industry: home modifications for the aging-in-place.

What is aging in place?
Aging in place means remaining in one’s home safely, independently and comfortably, regardless of age, income or ability level. It means the pleasure of living in a familiar environment throughout one’s maturing years and the ability to enjoy the familiar daily rituals and the special events that enrich all our lives. It means the reassurance of being able to call a house a “home” for a lifetime.
